It should achieve a 5×10⁶ gain at operatingvoltages between 1100 V and 1300 V. Ｂ It should have a single coaxial cable of length 15~30 m with an SHV female (plug)connector attached at its end. This cable should both supply high voltage to the PMTand transmit the PMT’s signal for readout. Ｃ The PMT and cable should be able to operate without significant changes inperformance under water at depths up to 72 m for at least 20 years. Ｄ Materials in all surfaces exposed to water when submerged should be compatiblewith both ultrapure water.
